HISTORIC MONACO GRAND PRIX

This unique race circuit, laid out entirely within the Principality, between Monte-Carlo, the Condamine (Port) and Monaco proper, works out to be just over 3 kilometres. The track is made up entirely of bends, steep uphill climbs and fast downhill runs.
The Monaco Grand Prix program includes Formula 1, GP2, Porsche Michelin Supercup and Renault 3.5 Formula. During the 4 days of this outstanding event, experience adrenaline and excitment through the practice, qualifiying sessions and races !
The first Monaco Grand Prix was held in April 14, 1929 at 13.30 under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness, Prince Louis II. The race released 16 competitors to curry out 100 laps of the 318 km long circuit.
With over 200 000 visitors during the week-end and several streets closed, traffic is hectic during the Monaco Grand Prix. We highly advise you to get organized by checking carefully Monaco race track opening and closing hours (daily program) as well as the map to facilitate your flow within the city.
